BetterKeeper vs Structured: plan the day, or run the work
BetterKeeper
A full workspace: tasks, projects with progress, rich notes, shared lists, and time tracking — all native Apple, all in your own iCloud.
Structured
A beautiful visual day planner. Your day is a timeline you drag things onto — excellent for today, thinner once work spans weeks and projects.

Where they really differ
Work is organized by project, not by hour. A kitchen remodel or a client launch keeps its tasks, notes, and progress bar in one place, and the Today view pulls out what's due. Useful whether the work lands today or in three weeks.
Structured's timeline is the whole idea, and it's genuinely excellent — you see your day as a sequence and drag it into shape. But everything is anchored to a time slot, so multi-week work with dependencies and reference material doesn't have anywhere to live.
Tap once to start a timer on any task. BetterKeeper logs the session and totals it per task and per project, so at the end of the week you can see — or invoice — exactly where the hours went.
Structured includes a Pomodoro-style focus timer to help you concentrate on the current block. It's a productivity aid, not a time log — there's no record afterwards of how many hours a client or project actually consumed.
Share a project with your partner or a collaborator and everyone sees changes in real time, with a chat thread attached to the project. The grocery list and the launch plan work the same way.
Structured is built for one person's day. There's no shared list and no way for someone else to add to your timeline — which keeps it simple, and rules it out for household or client work.
Breadth. Notes, attachments, project templates, sharing, and time tracking are included at one price across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and CarPlay — no Watch or Vision Pro app today.
Craft on a narrow target. The timeline UI, the Editors' Choice polish, and the reach across Watch and Vision Pro are real advantages if a well-planned day is the only thing you need.
Which one is right for you?
Your work outlives the day. You need projects that hold notes and files, hours you can bill, and lists you can share with someone else — without stitching three apps together.
Your problem is today, not the quarter. If seeing the next eight hours laid out as a timeline is what makes you start, Structured does that better than anything else — and it's on your Watch too.
